The Holy Redeemer Summer Fair
The Holy Redeemer Summer Fair on Saturday 17th September, 2-4pm at The Parish Hall on Churchmore Road.
There will be stalls, games, international food, a spit roast, and face painting. Entry is free and there will be lots for children to do. Don’t miss it!
Fund Raising
The fair is being organised to raise money to repair the Holy Redeemer building. The church was built in 1932 to commemorate William Wilberforce, but it has been out of use since 2007 because the roof is leaking. The church hopes to raise around £150,000 from fundraising to repair and save the building.
